The project comprises the development of a new accessory building to complement work occuring at the main hillside residence which overlooks views to the Rocky Mountains, the Lee Creek valley and town of Cardston in southern Alberta, Canada.
The small building program accommodates a studio or work shop, shower washroom and an additional seasonal garage bay to undertake projects and provide ancillary means of working at the property, storing the 'Westy' and various recreation and gardening tools. The pavilion building opens on two sides and creates an opportunity for flexible use of space in relation to the main residence as a book end to the new east patio area in complementary scale.
