Greg Lacey has over twelve years of experience as a seasoned technologist, project manager and contract administrator having worked in both architectural and facilities management environments across his career. After graduating with honors from the Engineering Drafting and Design Technology program at Lethbridge College, Greg spent nearly two years as an Architectural Technologist with RKH Architecture (formerly Hirano & Heaton Architects) based in Lethbridge, Alberta.

Greg's principle interests originated in architectural and engineering technology and later in his career developed into the areas of contract administration and project management. In addition to his experience in the architectural design field, Greg has been a seasoned Project Manager with the University of Lethbridge Facilities group for over ten years. He has extensive post-secondary project experience and has managed a diverse portfolio of renovation and new construction projects on institutional and downtown campuses. His work has comprised office workplaces, instructional spaces, science facilities and laboratories, recording studios and student residence developments. The work Greg has undertaken as an administrative officer has also provided him with a broad understanding and skill set for interfacing with diverse stakeholder or interest groups.
Greg has managed many noteworthy and complex projects from an owner's perspective which include the Digital Audio Arts Recording Studio project for the Faculty of Fine Arts - Department of Music (with Alvin Reinhard Fritz Architecture Inc.); the Foster James Penny Building Renovations for University Advancement (with Tokar+Associates Architecture); the University Hall Residences Rehabilitation for Ancillary Services (with Tokar +Associates Architecture); the University Hall Fire Alarm Strategy and Fire Compartmentation (with HFKS Architects Inc.); Kainai Residence Renovation for Ancillary Services; University Library Roof Replacement for Facilities Infrastructure; the Prentice Institute Office Suite Renovation project for the Provost & Vice President (Academics); and a state-of-the-art Video Conferencing Room for Information Technology Services (ITS).
Today Greg continues his work as a Project Manager in the Project Management Office (PMO) of Facilities at the University of Lethbridge and contributes to external projects through his involvement with the 010110 Collective.
