When the Town of Nanton approached us, they knew they had high priority space needs and an existing recreational facility that was underutilized but weren't sure what they wanted to accomplish and how to do it with the limited resources at their disposal. We worked alongside them to establish priorities, define a clear plan and discover a vision to execute their project across phases on budget to serve their community and administrative needs.
This project included developing a master plan projected to adaptively re-purpose unutilized areas of the Tom Hornecker Recreation Centre (THRC) in the Town of Nanton and then proceeding immediately to prioritized needs to construct a new council chamber, upgrade washroom facilities and support spaces. Future plans include accessiblity improvements to the public by adding an elevator, relocating town adminstration office services and providing additiional community resources. A host of other renovation upgrades are also planned to amplify existing and new recreational change rooms for the community.
