PROFILE

"Architecture is an artistic endeavor of human coexistence with the ecosystems of nature; accountably motivating people toward a built environment."

Thisura joined One One Ten to initiate his aspirations of becoming a world-travelled architect inspired by the places and cultures that inform his design thinking and ideas. His sources of design inspiration and work reflects his growing perceptions and awareness of the places, traditions, culture, nature and people he co-exists with in civil society. He has keen attention to developing a holistic approach and responsible design process accountable to the motives of clients and the over-arching architectural solution.

Thisura began his formal post-secondary education at the University of Botswana, Gaborone, Botswana where he completed his five year Bachelor of Architecture degree. Later, he pursued his Master of Architecture degree at the University of Calgary, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and graduated in 2022 where he was also involved with the Student Association in the School of Architecture (SAPL).
